Snow caps
I painted this from a cover of a book. I was trying out some new techniques I learned from class. Flat wash, wet on wet and dry brush. The blue in the water bled a bit but I'm pretty happy with it.

This is nice, too! Great job on some of the techniques.
This is so interesting! I can see some of the techniques really working here--especially in the mountains and sky. I like the way you handled the foreground tall grass and the soft mid-ground fields. I enjoyed the way the "blossoms" in the wash in the grass on the left add interest to the painting too.
