"Mom Mom"
This is a black and white photo I hand painted with watercolor paints. I took this photo the last time I saw her about 13 yrs. ago. Today she took a journey to a place where she will never know pain, and she will once again remember who she is. We will miss her but it is a comfort to know she is in a much better place.

What a lovely tribute. Is this your grandmother? She looks like a very sweet and loving person. I'm sorry to hear of her passing but it sounds like it's a blessing. I still miss my grandmother.

Donna, I have the same question: Is this your Grandmother? I am sorry about your loss. Sometimes seeing the ones you love out of pain and going on "home" is a good thing. If you want to use my photo paints, you are more than welcome to.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Yes, this is my Grandmother(my Moms mother). She was 98years old, and the last 6yrs. she has been in a convalescent home suffering with alzheimer's. What a horrible disease.

Thank for the tribute to your grandma, and because of this I know that you are also in better place. I am sure your grandma was at the Heavenly gates to meet on 04-30-07. I will always miss you, but I will not be selfish, because I know the Heavens got a new beautiful angel.
